Where do you begin? What a book. This copy’s got a mystery behind it too!!! The book itself is a legit, OG, True First Edition, but the dust jacket (whilst almost identical to the original) is actually from a later printing, done by Michael Joseph for the Cookery Book Club, in 1967. I pitched a true crime podcast but it didn’t fly...
Has an article, cut out from Page 2 of the Independent inside (written by the great Joanna Blythman, 23rd May, 1992), notifying us of Elizabeth David’s death.

Condition: Good. Few knocks and tiny tears to the dust jacket, but largely in good nick. Someone’s ticked (in blue biro) a few recipes they have (I guess) cooked in the index.
