Entertaining With Kerr - The Galloping Gourmet (AKA Graham Kerr)
This book is the recipes from the TV show of the same name and from a time when soy sauce was (at least here) referred to as ‘soya sauce’. Interesting. Kerr was one of the OG ‘foodies’ and (at least) claims to have created many dishes. One such classic in here is the Peter Rodenburg Omelet - a prawn and cabbage omelet. Make of that what you will. I do love that he bangs MSG in stuff, and also that he makes crockery suggestions and drink pairings (‘It is important not to drink wine as we know it. A small quantity of warmed rice wine is far better’) for every dish.
Publisher/Published: Britsh Broadcasting Corporation (BBC), 1970
Condition: Officially BB, I guess, but as you can see, this is in a right old state. You can’t say it isn’t cheap though!
